Campbell Law School’s Intellectual Property Law Society hosted a Patent Law Symposium on April 10, 2015.  The Honorable Paul R. Michel, retired Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit delivered the keynote address covering patent reform.  The first panel covered patentable subject matter and the most recent Supreme Court decisions.  The second panel examined the America Invents Act’s post-grant review provisions.  Lastly the third and fourth panels covered patent litigation in North Carolina compared to other jurisdictions, with panel three consisting of practicing attorneys and panel four consisting of federal judges from the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
