Current Staff

Aleisha is a second-year student at Campbell University School of Law and a Staff Writer for the Campbell Law Observer. She spent over eighteen years in New Jersey before relocating to North Carolina in 2018. Aleisha graduated cum laude from Liberty University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. Aleisha has a strong passion for juvenile justice and post-conviction work.

Anna is a third-year student at Campbell University School of Law and is a Staff Writer for the Campbell Law Observer. She is from Fayetteville, North Carolina, and graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree in Peace, War, and Defense and Political Science and a minor in Russian language and culture. In her free time Anna enjoys going on runs, reading mystery novels, and spending time with her cat Chai. Anna’s areas of interest are data privacy law and intellectual property.

Ann is a third-year student at Campbell University School of Law and is the Associate Editor for the Campbell Law Observer. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Ann graduated from West Virginia University with Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Criminology. In her free time, Ann enjoys hiking with her partner and spending time with her cats, Russell and Honey. Ann’s areas of interest include the intersection of law and psychology, criminal justice, and personal injury.

Deborah is a second-year student at Campbell University School of Law and is a Staff Writer for the Campbell Law Observer. She was born and raised in Leland, North Carolina, and graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina - Wilmington with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. She enjoys spending time in God's Word, cooking, crochet, and hiking. She is most interested in municipal law, education law, and defense work.

Josiah Wolfe is a second-year law student at Campbell University School of Law and is a Staff Writer for the Campbell Law Observer. Josiah grew up in North Carolina and graduated summa cum laude from Charter Oak College with a B.S. in Business Administration. Josiah has a passion for law, writing, and music.

Kenzey is a third-year student at Campbell University School of Law and is a Staff Writer for the Campbell Law Observer. Originally from Maine, Kenzey graduated from Wake Forest University with Bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and English. In her free time, Kenzey enjoys playing with her pet rats and thrifting. Kenzey’s areas of interest include the Wills, Estates, Elder Law, and Probate.

Kerry is a third-year student at Campbell University School of Law and is the Editor-in-Chief of the Campbell Law Observer. Originally from Wake Forest, NC, Kerry graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Management. In her free time, Kerry enjoys trying new restaurants with her partner and spending time with her cats, Sage and Olive, and her dog, Bentley. Kerry's areas of interest include criminal prosecution and attorney misconduct.

Laurel is a third-year student at Campbell University School of Law and is the Managing Editor of the Campbell Law Observer. Originally from Madison, Wisconsin, Laurel graduated from UW Eau-Claire with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science. Laurel spent 7 years working in Minneapolis before relocating to Raleigh for law school. Laurel enjoys cooking, baking, and playing pickleball in her free time. Laurel’s areas of interest include torts and defamation.

LeAnn is a second-year student at Campbell University School of Law and is a Staff Writer for the Campbell Law Observer. Originally from Salemburg, NC but spent the three years prior to coming to law school in Sunset Beach, NC where her parents currently live. LeAnn attended Western Carolina University with Bachelor’s degrees in both Psychology and Social Work. She also went to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to earn her Master’s in Social Work. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two cats, Lucy and Lulu, shopping at thrift stores, playing volleyball, sewing, and watching reality television. Current interests are in elder law and estate planning.

Sommer is a third-year student at Campbell University School of Law and is the Digital Editor for the Campbell Law Observer. Originally from Thomaston, CT Sommer attended University of North Carolina Charlotte and earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and minors in Journalism, Criminal Justice, and American Studies. Sommer enjoys recording for her podcast, Legally Blondish, spending time with her husband making homemade recipes, shopping at local thrift shops, and writing for her online blog. Sommer’s areas of interest are bankruptcy law and politics.
