Lara Innes is a third-year law student at Campbell University School of Law and a Staff Writer for the Campbell Law Observer. She was part of the team representing Campbell University at the 22nd Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Hong Kong. Lara’s interest in international joint ventures and cultural intelligence developed during her MBA studies prior to law school. She founded Strategic IJV, a platform through which she explores cross-border business relations. Lara grew up in Germany and lived in Japan, which informs her comparative approach to legal studies. She is fluent in English, German, and Turkish. In her free time, she enjoys archery, learning new languages, and fountain pens.
